Our organisation assists the most marginalised members of the community with legal information advice and representation. We champion law reform and conduct public interest litigation.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, coordinate, implement and oversee systemic advocacy law reform community legal education and project activities.
* Provide leadership and management to the Social Action and Public Interest Law team, SAPIL team.
* Manage, supervise and support staff as outlined in the attached position description.
* Contribute to the successful achievement of the FLS Strategic Plan and fulfilment of key reporting obligations including to Victoria Legal Aid and project funders.
The role requires a strong commitment to social justice and experience in leading and managing people.
You will need high level written and verbal communication skills and the ability to inspire, engage others, negotiate and influence stakeholders.
