**HR Advisor Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled HR Advisor to provide expert guidance and support to our employees and management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Providing initial advice and information on HR policies, procedures, payroll and entitlements.
Supporting employees and managers with performance and minor disciplinary matters.
Assisting with data collection for workplace investigations.
Contributing to the development and updating of policies and procedures.
Reviewing weekly payroll data, checking employment contracts, and assisting with implementing internal processes.
Drafting HR-related documentation.
Supporting internal performance and remuneration review processes.
**Key Requirements**
* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
* Exposure to and understanding of employment law, the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and Enterprise Agreements.
* An understanding of payroll processes and the ability to review payroll data.
* The ability to read and interpret industrial instruments.
* Exposure to reviewing employment information and documentation to ensure internal compliance.
Ideal candidates will also have:
* A few years experience in an HR role, such as HR Administration, looking to progress into an HR Advisor position or taking the next step in your HR Advisor career.
* A tertiary education in Human Resources or a related field (not mandatory, but an advantage).
* Experience in the construction, engineering, or mining sector would be an advantage.
