Steel Window Design is seeking a skilled and reliable Window Installer to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in installing high-end Australian made steel windows and doors on residential and commercial construction sites across Melbourne. If you're hands-on, detail-oriented, and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing:
* Installing steel windows and doors on-site with a high level of accuracy and quality
* Reading and interpreting site plans, drawings, and measurements
* Resolving on-site installation challenges (e.g. alignment, hardware fitting, sealing)
* Ensuring all work complies with safety and installation procedures
* Communicating effectively with the Operations Manager, Steel Window Design team and our clients
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
* Occasionally assisting in the factory (Preston) with pre-glazing and unit prep

What We're Looking For:
* Experience with window or door installation (steel/aluminium preferred, not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to site conditions
* Confident using hand and power tools
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player
* Willingness to follow instructions and mentor junior team members

Requirements:
* White Card (Construction Induction)
* Valid manual driver's licence
* Physically fit and capable of working in various on-site conditions
* Understanding of site safety and basic construction protocols
* Professional presentation – Steel Window Design uniform provided
* Basic ability to use some Microsoft Office tools - for example Outlook
* Hours of work are 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday
