Planned Resources is searching for a Structural Engineer in Melbourne or Brisbane for a client who is a privately owned Australian company, their strong reputation exists due to their ability to produce impressive designs in the public and private sector. They are an award-winning engineering consultancy, who have an impressive project portfolio spanning more than 40 years and are one of the oldest consultants in Australia.
The Structural Engineer Role
Due to the continued success of the business over the last few years, they are now looking to recruit a Structural Engineer due to project demands. You will report into the Structural Director, whilst helping to deliver key projects and mentoring juniors in the team.
Structural Engineer Duties.
* Prepare design specifications and documentation.
* Ability to use SPACEGASS, ETABS, RAPT, and INDUCTA Package.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Attend client meetings, site visits and inspections.
* Work as a team player to ensure deadlines are met.
* Work with and mentor drafters.
Structural Engineer Skills and Experience
* Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
* 5 years + experience required.
* Previous experience working in a similar role in Australia.
* Understanding of Australian BCA codes and standards.
