Senior Systems Integration Specialist
This role involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of a cutting-edge Systems Integration Lab (SIL). The successful candidate will ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the SIL, including its network, infrastructure, and business applications.
About the Role:
* Oversight of development, implementation and maintenance of lab procedures, processes, and best practice support that enables efficient and effective testing of software and hardware.
* Ensuring the Lab environment meets all safety, security, and compliance standards, including data security, access control, and disaster recovery protocols.
* Control of acquisition, storage, distribution, movement and disposal of SIL assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration with project managers, engineers, and external vendors to coordinate integration efforts, resolve technical issues and organise logistics movements.
2. Collaboration with engineering and logistics teams to ensure components and subsystems are available and integrated according to project schedules.
3. Collaboration with Senior Leadership Team and security team to complete Plan of Actions and Milestones (POAM) and achieve Authority of Operated status.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience in Systems Integration Lab environments and secure networks.
* Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for lab operations and systems integrations.
* Background in ILS or logistics management within defence environments with understanding of systems integration and supply chain processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
* Experience in systems integration, lab management or related role.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
The ideal candidate must be an Australian citizen with minimum NV1 security clearance. In some cases, this may impose restrictions on individuals who are dual citizens, permanent residency, or former nationality of specific countries as outlined in ITAR 126.1.
