About the role:
This is a great opportunity for a Chef or highly experienced Cook aiming to restore their work life balance and gain employment in one of Australia's fastest growing industries with the following:
* Prepare, cook and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus on food safety standards.
* Support senior hospitality staff members with menu design and implementation,
* Promote quality standards and maintain service with standard operating procedures.
Role requirements:
As a Head Chef, you'll take pride in your presentation, be knowledgeable in relation to nutrition and have a keen interest on the impact of dietary requirements on our aged residents.
You will have proven experience in safe food preparation, storage and delivery, a clear understanding of WHS, be confident in medium-high volume meal preparation and demonstrate the following:
* Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent skills from previous experience
* Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
* Understanding of Australian food and beverage standards
* Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
