About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist at Soaring Health, you will have the opportunity to work across various sites in Melbourne, including Craigieburn, Templestowe Lower, Thomastown, and community-based settings. This role offers flexibility and autonomy, with full-time or part-time options available.
Key Responsibilities:
* Evaluate patient medical history and functional abilities
* Develop treatment plans based on medical diagnoses
* Mobilize and manipulate muscles and joints
* Provide treatment using OT and rehabilitation equipment
* Give patients exercises designed to strengthen and increase their motor abilities
* Keep updated patient records detailing all therapy provided
* Adjust treatment plans as necessary
* Perform community-based work with travel and seeing various client types across all ages
Skill Development: You will be responsible for skill development in self-care, self-management, home management, and community/work/school reintegration, education and support of individuals through collaborative partnerships, care coordination, case management, transition services, and modification of environments.
