St Michael's Parish – Our grand Church is home to the Catholics of North Melbourne and has, for over 150 years, been a place of prayer, sacrament, and solace to the local community. The parish is seeking a compassionate, organised, and capable Housekeeper to be the welcoming face of our parish.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* General housekeeping tasks, including cleaning of bathrooms, kitchen, floors and dusting.
* Care and maintenance of furnishings and fittings.
* Laundry and basic ironing as required.
* The Archdiocese may require you to undertake other duties from time to time commensurate with your qualifications, knowledge, experience and ability.
* Takes reasonable care to protect the health and safety of themselves, fellow staff and others in the workplace

* Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
* Ability to use initiative and apply attention to detail.
* Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively build effective relationships.
* Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality while exercising judgement, sensitivity and discretion.
* High level of integrity, honesty and confidentiality.
* Attention to detail and a well-ordered approach to work.
* Initiative and follow-through.
* A heart to serve with a personal sense of warmth and welcoming.
REQUIRED
* Valid Working with Children Check
* Current Police Check
* Valid Driver Licence
* First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain (highly regarded)
