Bassendean Optical, an independent practice with a focus on children's vision and neuro-visual rehabilitation, is seeking a Vision Therapist to join our skilled and supportive team.
About the Role As a Vision Therapist, you'll deliver tailored therapy programs to patients with: Visual difficulties in children (e.g., lazy eye, eye-turn, learning-related vision issues) Neurological conditions, including stroke, concussion, or brain injury Sessions are typically 45 minutes within 1-hour appointments, and the role requires someone who can think on their feet, adapt to each patient's needs, and work collaboratively with optometrists and the wider team.
This position could also suit an Optical Dispenser or Optical Assistant looking to expand their clinical expertise, with full training and mentorship provided.
There is also the option to complete a formal vision therapy course as part of professional development.
