As a key member of our project team, you will play a vital role in the delivery of complex electrical engineering projects. Your expertise in field engineering specialization and technical inspection will ensure that construction installation requirements are met to the highest standard.
Job Responsibilities:
* Electrical Field Engineering Specialist
* Prepare construction drawings and schedules, ensuring compliance with project specifications and procedures.
* Lead the preparation of 'as built' drawings and other job plans, collaborating with design engineers.
* Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure Electrical, Instrumentation, and EEHA installation meet project requirements.
* Perform inspections and verify quantities of materials and equipment, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders as needed.
* Provide technical assistance and support to superintendents, supervisors, and craft professionals.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
* Competency in Electrical Equipment Hazardous Areas (EEHA) and Australian Standards.
* Oil & Gas or LNG Project construction experience assigned as Electrical Field Engineer.
* Direct Hire Experience, preferably in a lump-sum environment.
* Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs), including Setroute, TEAMWorks, Aconex, DSCS, and Unifier.
