About the role
We are seeking a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at TerryWhite Chemmart Kingsway in Madeley, WA.
What you'll be doing
* Assisting the pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions
* Maintaining stock levels and ordering supplies as needed
* Handling cash and card transactions for purchases
* Providing customer service and answering queries from patients
* Ensuring the pharmacy environment is clean, organised and well-presented
* Undertaking administrative tasks such as data entry and filing
* Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality healthcare services
* Assisting with delivery to aged care facility and community patients
What we're looking for
* Strong communication and customer service skill, attention to detail and the ability to work accurately
* Familiarity with pharmacy operations and processes, some dispensing experience is a plus
* Excellent competence in using computer systems and technology
* A caring and empathetic attitude towards patients
* A flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Either formal pharmacy qualifications or community pharmacy experience is acceptable for this position
* Australian work rights are required for this position
* A current valid Western Australian Drivers Licence (automatic or manual) is required
