Responsibilities:
Key areas of focus include:
* Delivering, supervising, and assessing students enrolled in VET courses
* Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records of training and assessment practices
* Providing practical supervision and instruction to students working in the commercial kitchen

Kitchen Operations & Safety:
The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring all kitchen staff and students comply with WH&S legislation at all times. This includes maintaining thorough knowledge of City of Ballarat Food Safety regulations and ensuring full compliance.
1. Assist in the preparation of food products for sale
2. Participate in stock control and maintain kitchen equipment as required

Team Collaboration:
Collaboration with BSS Hospitality staff, teachers, therapists, and students is key to developing skill-building programs aligned with the Hospitality curriculum.
* Instruct and supervise BSS Hospitality staff and Classroom ES personnel assisting in kitchen operations
* Work collaboratively with the Hospitality Team to develop new menu items and products

Café & Catering Coordination:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating catering orders for functions of up to 200 people.
