Job Description
I-MED Radiology Central Region has a new opportunity for a highly experienced, qualified Radiographer, for a Part‐time permanent position at our Caulfield clinic. Part‐time could be from 3 days a week to a 9 day fortnight.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing patients and operating specialised medical imaging equipment such as General X‐Ray, CT, MRI and Mammography.
* Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service.
* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers.
* Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Current relevant Radiography Radiation licence and professional registration.
* Appropriate qualifications in Medical Imaging Technology/Diagnostic Medical Radiography.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff.
* Previous experience in MR and Mammography is advantageous but not essential.
* Unlimited, full permanent working rights in Australia.
Role Overview
* As Radiographer / Mammographer, you will have a strong clinical focus that provides high quality, accurate medical imaging services to referrers and patients.
* Ability to work collaboratively with specialist referrers, radiologists, sonographers, nursing staff, receptionists and hospital stakeholders.
* CPM would be advantageous.
* Some breast screen work at our Caulfield clinic as well.
* Strong emphasis on training and quality control.
