The Role We are seeking a Founding Software Engineer to lead the scaling of our cloud-based compliance \"Airlock.\" You will be responsible for taking our architecture from 50k TPS to 1M+ TPS while ensuring mathematical certainty in every decision.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scale Cloud Infrastructure: Design and deploy high-availability, distributed systems (Node.js/TypeScript/PostgreSQL) capable of national-level throughput.
* Verified Parser Factory: Collaborate on the R&D of our logic engine, translating complex regulatory frameworks (ASIC, APRA, NDIS) into deterministic code.
* Sovereign Security: Implement advanced cryptographic hashing and immutable ledgers to meet 2026 Sovereign Data standards.
* Technical Evangelism: Act as the technical face for sovereign stakeholders, lead high-level demos, and communicate complex architectural concepts clearly.
Technical Selection Criteria (Mandatory):
* 5+ Years of Experience in Backend or Full Stack development with a focus on Distributed Systems.
* Deep Logic Expertise: Proven experience or academic background in Computational Law, Formal Verification, or \"Rules-as-Code\" (RaC).
* High-Scale Cloud Mastery: Expertise in scaling cloud-native architectures with sub-100ms latency requirements.
* Sovereign Comms: Exceptional verbal communication skills. As this role involves high-level demos to Australian Government and Defence stakeholders, professional Australian English proficiency is essential for trust alignment.
