Exciting opportunity for a Project Manager - Education to join our team!

This Project Manager - Education is responsible for leading the end-to-end management of education and training projects that support the professional development of interns and pharmacists. Working collaboratively with the Expanded Scope Manager and other managers within the Education and Training team, the Project Manager will scope, plan, coordinate, and implement innovative education programs aligned with PSA’s strategic goals. This role ensures that all education projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.

About the role:

* Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of education and training projects across the project lifecycle.
* Collaborate closely with the Expanded Scope Manager and other managers in the education team to support the development and implementation of new programs that align with emerging areas of pharmacy practice.
* Develop detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations, and ensure clear communication with relevant stakeholders.
* Coordinate internal and external contributors, including subject matter experts, instructional designers, content developers, and contractors.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting body requirements (e.g., ASQA, APC) throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor project performance against KPIs and milestones, providing regular reporting and analysis to leadership.
* Identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies to manage issues that may impact project delivery.
* Implement project management best practices and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Support the integration of completed projects into business-as-usual processes, including team onboarding and training as required.
* Engage with cross-functional teams including Membership, Marketing and Communications to support the promotion and uptake of education programs.
* Monitor budget expenditure and assist in financial reporting for programs.
* Support the adoption of new education technologies and platforms.
* Travel as required to support education and training program implementation, stakeholder engagement and professional events, including conferences and workshops.

What We’re Looking For

* Qualifications in project management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile certification).
* Proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably in education, training, or the health sector.
* Demonstrated ability to scope, plan, execute, and evaluate projects within set timelines and budgets.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
* High proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
* Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and proactively.
* Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and learner-centred design.

Desirable

* Experience working in pharmacy, health, or professional membership organisations.
* Understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and digital learning platforms.

Knowledge of compliance requirements in vocational and/or professional education (e.g., ASQA, APC).
