Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Mental Health Nurse based in Melbourne, VIC. The role involves providing comprehensive mental health care with a focus on ADHD, Binge-Eating Disorder, and other co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, mood disorders, and impulse control issues. Responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, implementing care plans, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and offering compassionate support to patients and their families to achieve positive health outcomes.
Qualifications
* Proficient in Mental Health Nursing and Mental Health Care practices
* Knowledge of Medicine, Psychiatry, and evidence-based approaches to mental health treatment
* Strong clinical Nursing skills and expertise in patient care
* Empathy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with patients and multidisciplinary teams
* Knowledge or experience in managing conditions such as ADHD, eating disorders, or co‐morbidities is highly desirable
* Support accreditation requirements and clinical governance processes
* Maintain quality assurance and reporting standardsEnsure policies and procedures are followed in patient communication and documentation
* Assist in audit preparation and compliance reviews
* Monitor adherence to healthcare and mental health regulations
* Current nursing registration and relevant qualifications
* Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
