Established in 2020 and based in South East Melbourne, The Cruiser Company manufactures four wheel drive bar work as well as a range of other accessories.
With a passionate team of individuals, The Cruiser Company places emphasis on making high quality four wheel drive products that will stand the test of time.
All barwork is laser cut, folded and powder coated locally and welded in-house.
We have in house design capabilities including 3D scanning, CAD design and rapid prototyping.
About You
* High school certificate or equivalent preferred.
* Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
* WHS and manual handling training desirable.
Position Summary
The Packaging Team Member is responsible for ensuring that finished 4x4 parts meet company quality standards before being packaged and shipped to customers. This role involves conducting inspections, performing quality checks, wrapping and labelling products, and preparing them for safe and secure shipment. The position also supports production and warehouse teams to ensure efficient workflows, while maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
Key Requirements
* Experience in a warehouse, production, or packaging role is desirable.
* Previous exposure to quality control processes is advantageous.
* Understanding of safe manual handling practices preferred.
* Experience in working with dispatch and order fulfilment processes is a plus.
Job Responsibility
* Perform quality checks on finished 4x4 parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Inspect parts for defects, damages, or inconsistencies before packaging.
* Wrap, label, and prepare products securely for shipment.
* Follow packaging guidelines to prevent damage during transportation.
* Maintain accurate records of packaging activities and quality inspections.
* Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to streamline operations.
* Report discrepancies, damages, or issues promptly to supervisors.
* Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area.
* Assist with loading and unloading of products when required.
