Working with us 
- For 1 year you will receive an isolation bonus of AUD$3,500. 
If you stay for 2 years you will receive AUD$10,500, and for the 3rd year (and every year after that) you will receive AUD$7,000. 
- Base salary ranges between $107,960 and $115,604 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6 (Band 1. 
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution. 
- Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual. 
- Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are available. 
In your downtime, we provide 2 return airfares per year (inc. 
spouse/dependents) to the nearest east coast provincial city with recreation leave; 5 weeks leave per year with a 17.5% loading/bonus.

Mornington Island Hospital is a remote Level 2 hospital providing 24-hour acute inpatient and emergency care, with a team including a medical officer and registered nurses. 
Mornington Island has 8 general medical beds and 4 Emergency department beds. 
About the role

Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATODS) is a multidisciplinary team providing a wide range of public health and clinical interventions to reduce risks and harms associated with substance use. 
We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse (CN) to bring advanced clinical expertise, solid problem-solving, and exceptional planning and coordination skills to our team. 
In this role, you will: provide high-quality care for patients, residents, and clients with complex mental health needs; deliver a wide range of drug and alcohol services to individuals, families, groups, and the wider community; ensure the highest standards of clinical practice are met.

Qualifications 
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences. 
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence. 
- Pre-employment screening including Criminal History checks. 
- Evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis may be required. 
- A period of probation may apply.
