The Role
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Southern Regional Sales Manager, you will be up for the challenge of driving profitable sales and growth within the Foodservice channels with distributors and End User customer activation focus. This role will be remote based focusing on the above in South Australia. Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Implement strategic and effective sales processes and systems
* Maintain & grow major state distributor accounts and secure additional business
* Establish and maintain state trading term metrics that fall within the national guardrails
* Identify opportunities in the market and implement strategies to improve level of service to new and existing customers
* Communicate forecasting uplifts and reductions
* Establish strong state-based account management of the key distributor network
* Exceed sales objectives through exceptional service
* Develop and grow new business opportunities through NPD
* Other ad hoc duties as per directed
The Person
To be successful in this role, you will be an energetic and relationships focused person. You will have a hunger for results and will have previous experience of Account Management in the FMCG industry.
* Previous experience in Account Management or a similar role
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Effective sales and negotiation skills
* Strong financial acumen, ability to understand and interpret GSV, trade spend and NSV.
* Strong drive and results orientated
* Adaptable working style - no two days will be the same
* Excellent time management and be able to prioritise a busy workload
