Carpentry Specialist Job Description
We are seeking two experienced carpenters for a full-time position at our organization. The role involves studying blueprints, sourcing materials, and assembling structures as part of renovation projects.
* Study drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures.
* Select timbers and materials, and prepare layouts.
* Cut materials, assemble, and nail cut and shaped parts.
* Erect framework and roof framing, lay sub-flooring, and floorboards, and verify trueness of structures.
* Nail fascia panels, sheathe roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding, door, and window frames.
* Assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install.
* Repair existing fittings.
Essential Skills:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:
* Proven experience in carpentry, with a focus on renovation work.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
* Able to lift heavy objects and work at heights.

* $75,000 – $80,000 per year.
