HR Manager Job Description
We are seeking a talented HR Manager to join our team. As an HR Manager, you will oversee the strategy and deliverables of all personnel, industrial, and employee relations, culture transformation, and DE&I-related programs and processes for our Australian entity.
* About the Role: The HR Manager will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing strategy for HR management, including diversity, equity & inclusion strategy, workforce planning & organisational design, compensation and employee benefits management, recruitment and selection policy/practices, and employee documentation management.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Oversight of discipline, grievance, and counselling processes.
o Development of budgets and management to agreed expenditure.
o Counselling and coaching managers to identify, prioritise, and build organisational capabilities and behaviours.
o Maintenance of own awareness and knowledge of contemporary HR development theory and methods.
o Ensuring alignment with global HR annual practices and policies.
o Participation as a member of the Yara Pilbara site leadership team.
Requirements:
* Qualifications:
o Degree in HR or relevant discipline (essential).
o Master's Degree (desirable).
* Skills and Experience:
o Extensive understanding of Australian workplace legislation and modern awards in accordance with the Australian Fair Work Act 2009 (essential).
o Knowledge of Australian IR/ER legislation & changes (essential).
o Industrial Relations experience (desirable).
o Strong leadership capabilities.
o Demonstrated experience in leading company culture, DE&I transformation processes in a multi-disciplined work site.
o Excellent communication, planning, and organisation skills.
o Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
