Laundry Manager
The Role
The Ville Resort‐Casino is seeking an experienced Laundry Manager to lead the day‐to‐day operations of the laundry department, ensuring the delivery of efficient, safe, and high‐quality services. This hands‐on leadership role is responsible for managing people, processes, and resources while maintaining equipment integrity, workplace health and safety compliance, and service standards.
Through effective workflow management, quality assurance, and team leadership, the Laundry Manager plays a key role in supporting operational excellence and overall customer satisfaction.
About The Role
* Provide hands‐on leadership of daily laundry operations, ensuring all washing, drying, ironing, folding, and distribution processes are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
* Lead, train, mentor, and support laundry team members in accordance with organisational policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
* Manage staffing requirements, including recruitment, onboarding, rostering, training, and performance management.
* Maintain appropriate inventory levels of linen, consumables, spare parts, and equipment, ensuring continuity of operations.
* Demonstrated understanding of P&L and financial reporting
* Oversee cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards within the laundry facility, promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
* Monitor equipment performance and coordinate servicing, maintenance, and repairs to minimise downtime.
* Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) requirements, including risk assessments, incident reporting, emergency procedures, and chemical handling protocols.
* Deliver ongoing WHS training to staff, reinforcing safe work practices and legislative compliance.
* Monitor service quality and promptly address any issues to maintain high levels of internal and external stakeholder satisfaction.

About you
* Proven experience in a Laundry Manager or similar operational leadership role.
* Strong knowledge of industrial laundry equipment operation, maintenance, and fault resolution.
* Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to engage, motivate, and develop teams.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
* Ability to effectively prioritise, multitask, and perform under operational pressure.
* Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements relevant to laundry operations.
