Be Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence (DFSV) service in the Illawarra that is experiencing sustained demand and is looking to engage multiple experienced Counsellors and Mental Health Professionals to support women in a trauma-informed, recovery-focused therapeutic setting.
These opportunities suit practitioners seeking contract, part-time or flexible engagements, with scope for longer-term or permanent options for the right people.
The Opportunity You will be delivering high-quality, trauma-informed therapeutic interventions to women who have experienced domestic, family and sexual violence. The work is grounded in feminist, strengths-based and recovery-oriented practice, within a supportive multidisciplinary environment focused on healing, safety and empowerment
We are particularly keen to connect with practitioners who bring experience across one or more of the following areas:
* Domestic, Family & Sexual Violence (DFSV)
* Alcohol & Other Drugs (AOD)
* Complex trauma
* Child, Youth & Family services
(including any intersection with DFSV within your practice)

* A private practitioner looking to complement your practice with a part-time NGO role

Availability from one day per week upwards will be considered.

About You
We're open to Counsellors, Social Workers and Psychologists (including Provisional or Generally Registered Psychologists) who meet the following:
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Counselling, Social Work or Psychology
* Registration or eligibility for registration with AASW, PACFA, ACA, APS or AHPRA
* 2–5+ years' experience working with complex trauma, particularly in DFSV, AOD and/or Child, Youth & Family contexts
* Strong skills in risk assessment, safety planning and trauma-informed intervention
* Backgrounds from NGO, government or private practice settings welcomed

* Eligibility to work in Australia
