**About our school**:
Spring Mountain State School is a fast growing primary school situated in the Greater Springfield area celebrating our 5th year of operation. We have a very multi-cultural, highly family orientated school that has a high focus on quality service and support of our students and families. We very much see our parents as partners to the success of our students. We currently have approximately 640 students with the current prediction having us double in the next 2-3 years. To forward plan for this growth in students we are looking for a highly EQ experienced, dedicated, caring AO to join our office team. We currently have a small team who have driven the vision and created a lovely welcoming environment for our families. **Your role**:
**Responsibilities include (but not limited to)**:

- Autonomy to perform a variety of day to day administrative and support services that are routine in nature and directed by the Principal or the Business Manager.
- Administer day to day financial matters (e.g. process payments and orders, receipting, banking, reconciling invoices for payment, follow-up on late payments as directed by Principal or Business Manager. Input and export financial data to/from OneSchool.
- Assist with organising school maintenance and safety inspections as directed by the Principal or Business Manager; assist with the operation and control of school hire schemes and arrange bookings for community use of school facilities; undertake stock-takes of school plant and equipment.
- Prepare minutes of meetings, policy documents, reports, forms, newsletters, prospectuses, memorandums, examination papers, class notes and school Annual Reports. Draft, check correspondence, with guidance from the Principal or Business Manager concerning correspondence of a non-routine nature.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Experience in EQ processes, practices and policies particularly - One School, student enrolments, Qparents
- High capacity and willingness to learn, engage, implement and work digitally.
- A team player/supporter who gets the job done with respect, organisation and consultation.
- A learner mindset who enjoys learning new ways of working.
- Excellent time management, able to multi-task, high levels of organisation and initiative. High expectations of self and work quality.
