Job Description
As a Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small business clients with a focus on growth and retention.
You will deliver on the bank's purpose to build a brighter future for all by proactively identifying opportunities to assist clients in meeting their day-to-day financial needs and medium-term goals.
Key responsibilities include engaging with clients in the course of facility documentation and onboarding, ensuring transaction delivery within the client's timeframe and financial needs.
You will also engage and collaborate with specialists to deliver tailored financial solutions and maintain a close relationship with Risk Management.
Additionally, you will build a network of local internal and external contacts to assist the origination of new business and gather competitive intelligence.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Extensive experience in managing a client portfolio with proven business originations outcomes.
* Demonstrated knowledge of bank products and financial services.
* Experience in a sales or relationship management role in Business Banking or Corporate banking is desirable.
* Numerical / analytical ability and accuracy.
* Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or related field are desirable.
