A successful local consultancy is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for design and construction services.

The consultancy works across a broad range of markets including commercial, residential, health, education and public infrastructure, and is known for its client-focused approach and work-life balance. With a healthy pipeline of secured work, the business is now seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to strengthen their design capability and support ongoing project delivery.
Your new role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will take responsibility for the design, documentation and technical delivery of structural projects from concept through to construction. This role offers a genuine blend of office-based design work and regular site inspections, providing strong end-to-end project exposure.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Structural design and analysis across steel, concrete and timber structures
* Preparation and review of engineering documentation and calculations
* Undertaking site inspections, assessments and construction phase support
* Liaising with architects, builders, councils and other consultants
* Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
* Ensuring designs comply with Australian Standards and local regulatory requirements
This hands-on role is suited to an engineer who enjoys seeing their designs built and values strong client and site engagement.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* A degree qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering
* Significant experience in structural design within a consulting environment
* Demonstrated experience undertaking site inspections and construction support
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements
* Excellent communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset
* Eligibility for Engineers Australia membership (CPEng or near chartered highly regarded)
