This is a leadership-focused, office-based role where your clinical expertise shapes care systems, not just individual episodes of care.
You'll provide clinical supervision, escalation support and risk oversight to Team Leaders and Care Partners across our Home Care services. Your work will directly enhance the safety, quality and compliance of care delivery, guiding complex decision-making, strengthening incident management, and ensuring alignment with the Aged Care Act and Quality Standards.
No shift work. No home visits. No hospital pressures. Just meaningful clinical leadership!
This role suits a clinician who values influence, systems improvement and professional leadership - ideally with a background in aged care, clinical risk, governance or compliance.
What you'll do
* Provide clinical supervision and guidance to Team Leaders and Care Partners
* Act as the escalation point for complex clinical cases and risk management matters
* Support incident management in line with SIRS and regulatory requirements
* Strengthen clinical capability through mentoring and targeted training
* Ensure care planning aligns with the Aged Care Act and Quality Standards
* Partner with Clinical Governance to drive continuous improvement
* Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability and clinical excellence
* This role has no direct reports but holds significant clinical influence and leadership responsibility
What you'll bring
* Tertiary qualification in healthcare (e.g., Nursing, Allied Health, or similar) -Essential
* Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration with the relevant governing Board -Essential
* Experience and/or qualifications in Dementia, Delirium, Cognitive Impairment and/or mental health (Desirable)
* Minimum 5 years of experience in clinical practice, with a focus on aged care, home care, or community health
* Strong knowledge of Home Care Packages, the aged care sector, and/or NDIS
* Experience in incident management, audits, or compliance frameworks
* Exceptional critical thinking, communication, and professional writing skills
* Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CRM/documentation systems
