With a strong focus on safety, reliability, and workmanship, we are growing and seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team.
The Role
As an Estimator at MKH Contracting, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive pricing for a wide range of civil construction tenders and projects. Working closely with our management and project teams, you will ensure all estimates are well-structured, cost-effective, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and tender documents
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil works including earthworks, roads, drainage, and utilities
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate quotations
* Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and supporting documentation
* Identify risks, opportunities, and value-engineering options
* Maintain and improve cost databases, pricing templates, and estimating systems
About You
* Experience as an Estimator within civil construction (ideally 2–5+ years)
* Strong understanding of earthworks, drainage, and civil infrastructure
* Excellent numeracy, attention to detail, and analytical skills
* Strong written and verbal communication
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
