Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub/ Scout - Part-time
About the role:
We have a excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Registered Nurse scrub/ scout to join our clinical team on apart time basis with a minimum 48 hours per fortnight. Monday to Friday, no weekends, no on-call and no public holidays
Duties and responsibilities:
This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
- Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
- Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
- Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
- Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
- Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
- Supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift
About You:
You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:
- Solid experience as a scrub/ scout in a perioperative setting
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing or similar
- Experience in the below specialties desirable
- Current AHPRA registration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
