Impact the Future.

Egis is a leading global organisation in architecture, consulting, construction engineering, operations and mobility services. We partner with clients to design, deliver and operate smarter infrastructure and places that respond to the world’s evolving needs.

With more than 22,000 employees worldwide, we combine global capability with strong local insight. Our multidisciplinary expertise enables us to deliver innovative, practical and sustainable solutions that help build more balanced, resilient communities.

At Egis, you’ll be part of a business shaping the future of cities, transport, energy and the built environment, creating lasting impact where it matters most.

As Finance Lead – WEET, you will act as the key commercial and financial partner to Project Managers and operational leaders. Reporting to the CFO, this role is responsible for driving financial performance, strengthening project governance, and improving working capital outcomes across the service line.

You will provide end-to-end project finance leadership across the full project lifecycle – from bid support and project set-up, through delivery and revenue recognition, to project close.

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a project‑based, professional services environment and enjoys influencing operational stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

Lead financial performance across the WEET portfolio, fostering accountability and a high‑performing culture.

Partner with Project Managers on project setup, forecasting, ETC, revenue recognition (PoC), invoicing and cash flow management.

Deliver accurate monthly revenue recognition in collaboration with operational teams.

Conduct risk reviews on projects with overruns, delays or margin erosion and recommend corrective actions.

Drive working capital performance, including weekly cash flow forecasting and reporting to leadership.

Own the budgeting and forecasting cycle, including resourcing analysis, backlog and pipeline projections through to P&L and operational cash flow.

Provide commercial input into bids and pricing models, balancing risk and return in collaboration with legal and operational stakeholders.

Support ERP rollout activities including data cleansing, process mapping, UAT testing, training and adoption monitoring.

Standardise financial and operational processes, aligning master data and reporting structures across the group.

Act as the SME for ERP project accounting, coaching and educating Project Managers on governance and financial controls.

Liaise with APAC Shared Services (tax, accounting, payables, receivables, payroll and FP&A) to ensure accurate and compliant financial operations.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (CA/CPA desirable).

5–8+ years’ experience in project accounting or commercial finance, ideally within engineering, infrastructure or professional services.

Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to influence and mentor stakeholders.

Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and Percentage of Completion (PoC) revenue recognition.

Proven experience in ERP environments, ideally including system implementation or major systems change.

Advanced analytical capability with strong problem‑solving skills.

High attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to translate financial insights into operational actions.

Egis is committed to creating an inclusive, flexible, and values‑led workplace. We support flexible work arrangements and provide a collaborative environment where our people can develop and grow their careers.

We are expanding in Australia and New Zealand and are excited for you to join our growing team.
