This job is offered on a FIFO basis in North Queensland. The construction operations will be performed in accordance with project ES&H plans, quality standards and local/national regulatory safety codes.
The supervisor should ensure compliance of direct hire contractors and sub-contractors, and coordinate performance of installation contractors, project status, schedule, cost control, change management systems. They also need to plan the craft manpower and recruit staff through Industrial Relations. Additionally, they must review and approve sub-contractor's submittals and maintain effective relationships with other departments.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Construction monitoring and compliance for direct hire and sub-contractors.
2. Coordinate installation contractors' performance, project status, and cost control.
3. Recruit and manage craft personnel, maintaining industrial relations and ensuring continuous work fronts availability.
With 15+ years of experience in construction projects, you will provide leadership and guidance to contractor staff and construction engineers. You will also have thorough knowledge of safety procedures, complex formwork systems, and installation processes.
