Structural Engineer Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our Buildings Team in Wagga Wagga. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and high-performing team, delivering iconic projects across various types of buildings and materials.
The successful candidate will have a relevant university degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering, 3-6 years' industry experience as a Structural Engineer, and comprehensive knowledge of Australian Building Codes and Standards. They will also be able to mentor junior engineers and possess excellent communication skills.
As a member of our team, you will be working collaboratively with architects, project managers, building services and civil engineers on multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for structural design of buildings, inspections, assessments, and reporting, as well as project management and leading teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing structural designs for buildings, incorporating a range of skills and expertise.
* Working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
* Mentoring and guiding junior engineers to enhance their skills and expertise.
* Ensuring compliance with Australian Building Codes and Standards through regular inspections and assessments.
