We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Analyst to join a vibrant team within a NSW Government agency. This role focuses on delivering integrated IT solutions that align with strategic objectives, working closely with diverse stakeholders to analyze complex business processes and drive project outcomes. Based in Parramatta with hybrid work options, this full-time contract runs until 30 June 2026, offering a competitive daily rate of $613 (including super).
Key Skills And Experience
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience facilitating workshops and documenting requirements.
* Proven experience as a technical business analyst on projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
* Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD).
* Proficiency in M365 tools (MS Project, Visio), Azure DevOps, JIRA, and Confluence.
* Basic understanding of data reporting with Power BI.
* Industry certification in Project Management, Scrum, or PMBOK (preferred).
* Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs, document requirements, and propose technology solutions that deliver value.
* Analyze and document complex workflows to support the design and implementation of scalable IT solutions.
* Drive continuous improvement by researching industry best practices and identifying opportunities for process automation.
* Provide expert guidance on technical integration, ensuring alignment with business objectives and seamless project delivery.
* Develop clear documentation, including process maps, project plans, and presentations, to communicate solutions effectively.
* Lead stakeholder engagement, facilitating workshops and ensuring productive collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
* Support agile development processes, utilizing tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA to manage requirements and track project progress.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment with project goals.
