Strategic Alliance Director
This role involves leading IHV alliances in EMEA or APAC regions, based remotely. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with IHV partners, increase their awareness of open source capabilities on Canonical Ubuntu, and negotiate commercial agreements.
Main Responsibilities:
* Establish trusted partnerships with IHV companies
* Foster awareness of Canonical Ubuntu's open source capabilities among IHV partners
* Demonstrate expertise in the Linux and cloud software ecosystem
* Negotiate contracts and commercial terms
This role requires:
* Experience in managing alliances or indirect sales teams
* A self-motivated, disciplined, hands-on approach to work
* Ability to capture customer needs, identify gaps, and create opportunities
* Passion for Ubuntu products and mission
