Selection Criteria
SC1: Demonstrated high level skills, knowledge and experience necessary to manage and maintain the school's Information and Communications Systems, both within the organisation and school and other organisations, including the appropriate qualifications, technical skills and expertise as relevant to this work.
SC2: Demonstrated capacity to organise the collection and analysis of high-level organisational data for the purpose of improving student learning and organisational performance.
SC3: Demonstrated experience in creation of media, including but not limited to: Filming, editing, and publishing of videos and photos.

Role
Ngayuk College - 3 days per week | Marra School - 2 days per week
8.00am - 4.00pm
The IT Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation, reliability and security of the ICT systems across a Secondary School and co-located Specialist school setting. The role oversees network infrastructure, user accounts, devices and software platforms, provides technical support to staff and students, and works closely with leadership to support teaching and learning through effective use of technology. The position also manages vendors and service providers, ensures compliance with Department and cyber-security requirements, and leads planning for future ICT improvements and innovation across the school.
Responsibilities
* Manage the work practices and priorities of support staff in a school/s.
* Manage the maintenance of confidentiality in respect to all school records and communication systems.
* Undertake systems design, program design and specification and direct programming changes necessary to enhance, modify or maintain a computer system.
* Evaluate and report on the operational efficiency of computer systems in production, making recommendations for improvement where appropriate.
* Examine and report on the efficiency and effectiveness of hardware configurations, software operating systems, data transmission networks and generalised software packages.
* Develop and conduct training programs for computer systems users.
* Modify and adapt accepted methods and guidelines and interpret and analyse complex data across several sub-disciplines.
* Develop techniques and procedures that will affect work practices beyond the work place.
* Manage a technical program with a broad scope across the school.
* Support and editing of College Digital Resources
* Provide audio/visual and digital support for events with a significant IT Component (eg NAPLAN/Assemblies)
* Work as a team member within an operations hub that manages day-to-day IT and Logistics across the College
* Support with Daily Organiser duties when required.

Location Profile
Ngayuk College is a new, co-educational government secondary College located in the heart of Kalkallo, Victoria. Opening in Term 1, 2026 with a foundation Year 7 cohort, the College will grow by one year level each year to eventually cater to students in Years 7 to 12.
Ngayuk College is being established in response to the rapid growth in the local area and will serve as a vibrant educational hub for families in Kalkallo, Donnybrook and surrounding communities.
