Role Summary
We are seeking a Quality Manager to lead and drive the quality, safety, and continuous improvement framework across our Oncology practices in Western Australia.
This is a permanent role offering a 9-day fortnight and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the ongoing implementation of the clinical governance framework.
* Lead and drive design, rollout, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.
* Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
* Report quality outcomes to the state and nationally drive continuous improvement initiatives to benefit both patient and employee groups.
* Provide strategic oversight on accreditation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
* Ensure compliance with national safety and quality standards.
* Support staff safety and quality capability building.
* Represent quality and safety as a key member of the state leadership team.
* Contribute to national quality projects as part of the broader quality team.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in a similar role ideally with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare management or quality.
* Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment and proven ability to adapt quickly to change.
* Working experience and strong knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
* Experience with quality systems SharePoint/Intranet and risk/incident management tools.
* Strong background in developing and delivering training in the area of quality and safety and working collaboratively with project teams subject matter experts and a range of stakeholders to build a culture of quality safety and continuous improvement and compliance.
* Expertise in document standardisation and control internal audit compliance and process mapping.
* Proven analytical and root cause analysis capabilities.
* Familiarity with LEAN Six Sigma or similar methodologies is a plus.
