STRATO Melbourne is one of the city’s most exciting premium dining and event destinations, offering spectacular views, exceptional service, and versatile spaces. We are now seeking a motivated and client-focused Events Sales Executive to join our team.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for event and function enquiries, preparing tailored proposals and quotes, converting leads into confirmed bookings, and conducting site inspections. You’ll build strong client relationships and ensure all event details are communicated accurately to our operations team for seamless delivery, creating memorable experiences that exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage all event and function enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
· Prepare and issue proposals, quotes, and contracts, and follow up with clients.
· Build strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact from initial enquiry, through site inspection and event planning, to post-event follow-up.
· Conduct site inspections and showcase STRATO Melbourne’s event spaces.
· Proactively identify and convert new business opportunities.
· Ensure all confirmed event details are clearly communicated internally.
· Act as Operations Host on selected Fridays and Saturdays, delivering exceptional client service.
Qualification & Skills Required
· Experience in event sales, functions coordination, or hospitality.
· Current Victorian RSA certificate
· Strong communication and customer service skills.
· Proven ability to convert enquiries into confirmed business.
· Confident in client presentations and site inspections.
· Highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
· Availability to work some weekends, with core working hours generally 10:00am–7:00pm

Pay: $65,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
