About the Role
This role reporting into the Head of HR is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support to the site’s operational team. This includes delivering timely and effective employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) advice.
Please note: This role is on an 8/6 Roster, FIFO from Perth.
Other responsibilities include:
- Act as a highly competent HR Generalist, supporting site operations with strategic and hands-on HR guidance
- Lead and manage end-to-end investigations, ensuring procedural fairness and timely resolution
- Drive performance management initiatives, partnering with leaders to build capability and accountability
- Provide expert advice on IR/ER matters, navigating complex workplace scenarios with confidence
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across all levels of the business
- Coach and mentor site leaders, fostering a culture of Leader-led engagement and ownership
- Assist with the implementation of a robust Respect at Work framework, aligned with current reforms and best practice
What You Bring
The ideal candidate for this role is a confident, people-centric HR professional who thrives in dynamic and remote environments. You bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to your work and a genuine passion for workforce development. Other requirements include:
- Senior HR experience, ideally in FIFO or remote site environments.
- Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or related field (preferred).
- Strong operational HR expertise in workforce planning, job architecture, and performance management.
- Proficiency in Successfactors HRIS and LMS platforms (Preferred)
- Solid knowledge of employee and industrial relations in site-based settings.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes independently.
- Change management experience, with a track record in supporting organisational transitions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiar with Respect at Work reforms and capable of leading cultural change initiatives.
- Resilient and adaptable, thriving in fast-paced or remote environments.
