In this role, you'll:
You'll set the strategic direction and activate the delivery of the Aboriginal Outcomes Framework through development of related strategy, policy and reform to advance and embed Aboriginal knowledge, values and lived experience in programs and, services.
You'll provide strategic advice, direction and project management to ensure delivery and reporting for Closing the Gap, Ministerial responses/advice and cross government reporting.
You'll lead a team that designs, develops and delivers advancement, strategy and reform education and communication materials to ensure TfNSW is compliant and culturally safe in all engagements.
This permanent position is governed by our hybrid working model, which forms part of the organisation's Flexible Working Arrangements and associated procedures. About you
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience, you'll have relevant expertise in Aboriginal strategy, policy and reform, with a strong record of co-design and partnering with Aboriginal communities, organisations and peak bodies.
You''ll have proven leadership of delivering scheduled and responsive initiatives requiring multi-agency and/or whole of agency coordination, including the development and delivery of education and communications products, and the design and evaluation of outcomes to ensure impact and continuous improvement.
You'll have a strong understanding of the legislative and policy landscape (e.g., Closing the Gap, procurement and participation policies, cultural heritage, data governance, Native Title, Lands Act) and how to operationalise it.
You will be comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where delivery on tight deadlines is critical.
You have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate complex relationships, and remove barriers to drive the desired outcome.
