The Guidance Officer position is a temporary assignment that involves providing counseling, psychoeducational assessment, and individual student support across the Far North Queensland Region.

* Deliver comprehensive guidance services to students addressing education-related behavioral career mental health family issues advocacy for students offering recommendations to teachers parents
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams build partnerships with parents staff external agencies enhance student engagement change access to programs holistic support
* Support students in decision-making for education social-emotional development career pathways providing ongoing guidance during implementation
