Operator
Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Operator to contribute to Council's success.

About the Role
The purpose of this position is to provide efficient and effective customer service whilst ensuring waste minimisation, safety and environmental protection and recyclable recovery. In addition, as an operator this position is required to operate heavy plant equipment in accordance with Safety and Environmental Legislation and Council's requirements.
You will bring:
* Experience and competency operating 2 or more of the following plant: Twin Steer Bogie Drive Hook Truck, Front End Loader, Track loader (skid steer), Landfill Compactor (Roller) and Excavator.
* Experience and competency operating under a current Heavy Rigid (HR) licence.
* Labouring skills to perform physical tasks daily.
* Basic literacy skills to complete required paperwork.
* Experience in the operation of manual hand tools and power tools.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills and experience liaising with internal and external customers.
* Proficient keyboard skills and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and operating corporate business systems.
* Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card).

This position requires immunisation against Hepatitis A/B and Tetanus.
