The Role:
We are seeking an Associate Structural Engineer to take a leadership role in the delivery of residential, multi-residential and commercial projects, including high-end homes, apartment developments and community facilities.
The role offers the opportunity to take ownership of projects from concept design through to construction, ensuring technical precision, strong client relationships and successful project outcomes.
You will play a key role in project delivery while remaining actively involved in the technical design and problem-solving that underpins great engineering outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide innovative structural design solutions for a range of projects, including luxury residential homes, multi-residential apartments and commercial developments.
* Manage projects from design through to construction, conducting site inspections to ensure seamless project execution.
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships through clear and responsive communication.
* Collaborate closely with architects, builders and consultants to ensure designs meet project goals and architectural intent.
* Deliver value-managed designs that prioritise efficiency, constructability and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
* Respond to project queries and requests for information (RFIs) in a timely and professional manner.
* Work across a diverse portfolio of projects simultaneously within a dynamic and fast-paced consultancy environment.
* Take a hands-on approach with site visits and stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to graduate and junior engineers to support their professional development.
What You Bring:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design, ideally within a consultancy.
* Tertiary qualifications in structural or civil engineering.
* Proficiency in design software (e.g., RAM, Space Gass, RAPT, STRAND7, ETABS, Structural Toolkit, Wallap).
* Strong communication skills, with a focus on building lasting relationships and delivering exceptional service.
* A proactive mindset, adaptable to dynamic, fast-paced projects with tight deadlines.
