Job Summary:

* We are seeking a skilled trade professional to join our team as a Maintenance Technician.
This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant and equipment, ensuring maximum production and upholding safety standards at customer sites.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintain, repair, and retool plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations.
* Manage contractors servicing customer sites and depots throughout the region.
* Set and prioritize work, ensuring parts are available and labor is fully utilized.
* Monitor downtime/uptime to increase packaging system effectiveness.
* Ensure all equipment meets OEM run speeds and quality standards.
* Liaise with equipment and technical suppliers.
* Plan and implement efficient maintenance delivery to meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
* Strong trade qualified skills (fitter & machinist, electrical diagnosis, or pneumatic experience advantageous).
* A current full driver's license.
* The ability to travel to different sites across QLD and Australia when required.
* Good fitting, fabrication, and troubleshooting skills.
* Ability to perform preventative maintenance tasks effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills (written and oral).
* Flexibility, initiative, problem-solving skills, and a proactive mindset.
* A focus on customer service and an uncompromising attitude towards health & safety.
* Restricted electrical licenses desirable but not required.
