Gardener
About the Role
gforce is seeking an experienced Gardener to assist with the care and maintenance of a wide range of plants, flowers, and gardens for a local government organisation in Ballarat.
What's in it for you?
* Casual rate of $36- $37 per hour
* Full-time hours, Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:30pm
* 4-week temporary assignment starting ASAP
* Potential for ongoing work
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Weeding, planting, pruning, staking, raking, spreading mulch
* Weed and pest control (spraying)
* Operating zero-turn, push mowers & brush cutters
* Other general gardening duties as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Experience in gardening
* Relevant horticulture qualifications (an advantage)
* Physical fitness for labouring duties
* Ability to work in a team and follow instructions
* Strong safety awareness
* Current driver's licence
* Ability to pass police check and drug screen
* Own PPE including steel cap boots and hi-vis long-sleeved shirt
