About the Role
As a Technical Delivery Manager at Haast, you'll be the engine that keeps our high-velocity engineering teams moving at startup speed while maintaining the quality our enterprise clients demand.
You'll orchestrate releases, manage technical roadmaps, and ensure seamless delivery across our Python/Svelte platform. We're looking for a technical delivery leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and can balance rapid innovation with reliable execution.
This isn't your typical project management role; you'll be working directly with engineers to solve complex delivery challenges and optimise our development workflows.
Impact You'll Make
- Lead Delivery: Drive technical delivery across Haast’s platform and coordinate CI/CD releases.
- Facilitate Agile Processes: Run standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives; manage roadmaps and cross-team dependencies.
- Optimise Workflows: Identify and remove bottlenecks while balancing feature velocity with technical debt.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product and engineering to ensure seamless delivery.
- Measure Success: Build and maintain delivery metrics and dashboards to track performance.
- Champion Best Practices: Promote agile methodologies across fast-growing engineering teams.
What You'll Bring
Must Have:
- Proven technical delivery management or engineering leadership experience
- Strong technical background with understanding of modern web development
- Experience managing software releases and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven track record in agile methodologies and sprint management
- Experience with project management tools (Linear preferred)
- Track record of managing technical teams in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating across technical and business teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Python, FastAPI, and up-to-date JavaScript frameworks
- Background in startup or high-growth environments
- AWS cloud platform knowledge
- Solid understanding of API development and database technologies
- Experience with GitHub Actions and automated deployment workflows
- Understanding of AI/ML system delivery challenges
- Previous experience in compliance or regulated industries
- Experience managing customer-facing delivery processes
