Job Description:
* We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of our Oracle Exadata environment and have extensive experience with the latest Oracle Database version 19C.
The ideal candidate will possess technical knowledge in Oracle Exadata, including administration works on different rack versions of Exadata.
In addition, they should have expertise in designing and implementing multi-node RAC DBs along with standby databases (Oracle Data Guard).
Expertise in GoldenGate with single-handed issue-solving capability is also required.
Experience with different types of Data Guards (LDG, ODG & ADG) is an asset.
A strong understanding of performance tuning and excellent problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
The successful candidate will work closely with our IT SAP operations team and support business teams.
Key Responsibilities include performing root cause analysis on persistent or major database-related problems, performing database refresh activities, and performing database patching activities.
The ideal candidate will also provide accurate timelines for specific tasks assigned, provide end-user support, especially during month-end close, and continue service improvements.
