Your New Role
We are looking for a dedicated, energetic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team on a full time basis located in our Brisbane office.
Bring your flexible, Can-Do attitude to work every day and enjoy being part of an amazing team. As well as having experience in a similar role, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Build a dynamic set of growth opportunities through new business development and identifying leads
* Diligently responsible for planning and managing direct sales activities to prospect and attain new accounts and develop pipelines
* Identify market trend and translate insights into actionable plans
* Build a solid sales pipeline to secure new accounts while nurturing existing ones
* Play a key role in preparing and negotiating bids, RFQs, and quotes
* Stay engaged with customers, respond to inquiries and maintain strong relationships
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
* Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients
* Negotiating and closing deals to secure new business contracts
* Collaborate with product and procurement teams to align trade lane strategies
* Attend sales visits and collaborate with overseas partners to develop new business opportunities
* Achieving sales targets, set KPI's and negotiate customer contracts
* Willingness to think out of the box, explore new avenues, and present creative solutions
* Stay ahead of the game by analysing market trends, competitors, and customer needs to shape our competitive position
* Keep our CRM up-to-date with valuable insights and sales activities
* Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
* Reporting on sales performance and providing recommendations to the management team
Customer service is crucial in this role which means you will need to exercise a level of professionalism and understanding when it comes to customer needs.
What You Need
We will help you be successful in this role. To start you will need:
* 4 Years Experience in similar role within the industry
* Proven track record of success with business development
* Able to demonstrate strong commercial knowledge
* Amazing communication skills, both written and verbal
* High attention to details
Your professional presentation and communication skills, along with true passion for providing exceptional customer experiences will play a major role in achieving success, both professionally and personally.
