A respected, multi-site dealership group in the Gippsland region is seeking a motivated Dealership Accountant to support their finance team in a fast-paced environment.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this hands‑on role will see you managing critical finance operations, ensuring accuracy across monthly reporting, compliance, and day‑to‑day dealership transactions.
What you'll be doing:
* Overseeing dealership financial functions and compliance
* Preparing monthly accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations
* Managing AP / AR processes and supporting payroll compliance
* Handling banking controls, debtors, and cash management
* Working across departments to ensure vehicle processing accuracy
* Supporting the Financial Controller with admin and reporting tasks
* Identifying and driving finance process improvements

* Accounting qualifications or equivalent experience
* Experience in dealership or commercial finance roles
* Excellent Excel skills and high attention to detail
* Analytical, organised, and proactive communicator
