_Stunning 4 Motel in Highfields Toowoomba, QLD - Seeking Experienced Relief Manager_*

We have an exciting opportunity for a Relief Front End Manager at our stunning, nice, and tidy 4* motel located in Highfields Toowoomba, QLD. We are looking for a great couple or single with a background in the industry to join our team.
**Position: Relief Manager**
**Job Type: Part-time (2 days a fortnight) with potential to increase**
**Daily Remuneration: $200 - $250 per day**
**Responsibilities**:As a Relief Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a memorable guest experience through excellent customer service. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently managing the check-in and check-out procedures with a friendly and professional approach.
- Handling telephone calls, guest requests, and reservations promptly and proficiently.
- Ensuring guest safety and security by managing key access to hotel rooms and facilities.
- Providing guests with full product knowledge, upselling room categories where appropriate to maximize revenue.
- Creating reservations according to guest requests, availability, and budget.
- Assisting guests with special requests, restaurant reservations, transport, and other reasonable inquiries.
- Resolving guest complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating to management when necessary.
- Safeguarding the motel against financial fraud by handling guest payments and credit card authorizations.
- Reporting outstanding balances or payment queries to management and following up accordingly.
- Maintain the recording of accurate float balances and daily cash and credit reconcilliation.
- Processing guest mail, messages, and deliveries while ensuring guest privacy and security.
- Maintaining a clear understanding of all current promotions and offers to provide accurate information to guests.
- Encouraging guest feedback and ensuring open communication across all departments to fulfill guest requirements.
- Maintaining a clear line of communication with higher management, including reporting all hazards and incidents, guest feedback and attendance of departmental training, as required.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and WHS policies are maintained.
- Ensuring all guest rooms maintain a high standard, including quality checks and removal of linen to assist housekeeping.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in customer service, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Technological proficiency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and people skills.
- A friendly and professional phone manner.
- Highly organized and efficient, capable of staying calm under pressure.
- Ability to work 2 days a fortnight, with potential for increased hours in the future.
- Well rounded hospitality and customer service experience, enabling you help in different areas of the Motel when required.
