* 5+ years of experience in risk/compliance, administration, or project implementation within the financial services sector.
* Relevant experience in compliance or financial crime investigation is advantageous.
Responsibilities
This position entails several key responsibilities:
* Benchmarking case maintenance and identifying areas for process improvement.
* Assessing transaction patterns and identifying potential issues indicating suspicious activity.
* Investigating complex transactions and customer relationships to determine money laundering risks.
* Reviewing and analyzing daily transaction alerts generated by the internal monitoring system.
* Collaborating in developing and implementing new transaction monitoring rules based on emerging typologies and regulatory updates.
* Ensuring timely lodgement of all compliance issues and incidents relating to fraud, privacy, and processes.
* Facilitating effective interactions with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication among departments.
